Come to the main office before school, after school, or during lunch to check the lost and found rack. It is overflowing with items and we’ll be taking them to Goodwill very soon.
Don’t miss out on getting your 2023-2024 yearbook! They are on sale now for $20.00. They can be purchased on our Nelsen website or through Ms. Anna in the ASB office. Don’t wait or they may sell out. Once they are gone, they are gone.
Nelsen Hawks! Green Team still needs your help collecting bread tags. We have already doubled our amount so far and there is plenty of room for more! Remember to collect bread tags and deliver them directly to the Hawk Shop on Thursdays. You can also give them to Mr. Paul and Ms. Sison. The entire school gets free ice cream when we fill our jar with bread tags.
The Green Team wishes you a joyful weekend. We will see you at the Green Team Meeting Monday after school.
Have a great day Hawks!

Good evening, Nelsen families,
Next week is the last week of second trimester. Our teachers have done an excellent job of creating opportunities for students to submit late work, redo assignments/assessments, and get all caught up on second trimester work. Those opportunities are quickly coming to an end as our teachers are preparing to submit final grades for second trimester. If your student would like to turn in any missing work or retake an assessment, please encourage them to speak with their teacher as soon as possible to ensure enough time to do so.
As a reminder, there is no school on Monday March 18th. Our first day of the third trimester will be Tuesday March 19th.
On Wednesday March 20th, Renton School District is hosting a Maker Showcase. The Maker Showcase will be an opportunity for students, families, and the community to come and see some of the amazing work produced by the various clubs from around Renton. The Maker Showcase will be hosted at Renton High School and begins at 6:00pm on Wednesday the 20th. The flyer has additional information - RSD Maker Space Flyer.png.

PTSA is partnering with Green Team. The following is a message from them: As a part of the Green Team, we are collecting bread tags. These tags are collected and donated to a charity which helps giving out wheelchairs and other necessities. Please drop bread tags off to Mr. Paul, Mrs. Sison, or at the Hawk shop, which will help us reach our goal of filling the jar. As a reward for our school, there will be free ice cream, and unlock the selling of ice cream at the Hawk Shop on Thursday
Enjoy your weekend.
